A Syrian woman selects warm clothing, provided by NGOs, for her children after arriving from Gevgelija (the Macedonia-Greece border). Tabanovce is the transit stop before they cross the border into Serbia on their way into Western Europe in search of a peaceful life. There is no train schedule-the trains leave Gevgelija when they fill up, therefore over the winter two to three trains a day have been arriving in Tabanovce at varying times of day and night.
